What We Do
We use ABA therapy to help children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental conditions. We are accredited by BHCOE and have national experts to ensure best practices. We serve Wyoming and Idaho. Contact us to learn more.
Comprehensive ABA Treatment
Comprehensive ABA treatment is a type of therapy that can help children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in many areas, including communication, social skills, and behavior. It is a intensive treatment that typically involves 30-40 hours per week of 1:1 therapy with a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). As the child progresses, sessions may progress to small-group formats and will aim to integrate naturalistic methods of teaching into treatment. Community support may also be needed. Our team specializes in Intensive Behavioral Intervention (IBI) for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Focused ABA Treatment
Focused ABA treatment refers to treatment provided directly to the client for a limited number of behavioral goals. This model typically involves reducing problem behavior(s) and increasing socially appropriate behavior as the primary focus. Individuals who need to acquire key functional skills (i.e. communication, safety skills, self-care/hygiene skills, social skills, independent living skills, or independent leisure skills), as well as individuals who are exhibiting acute problem behavior(s), would be appropriate candidates for this treatment model.
Public School Partnership
Peak Behavioral Services offers a public school partnership program to bring public and private resources together to maximize the educational benefit to our clients in the context of the local public schools. Peak Behavioral Services works collaboratively with teachers and school personnel offering classroom consultation, training, curriculum development, individualized assessment (Functional Behavior Assessment – FBA), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), Individualized Education Plan (IEP) support, Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP) consultation, and data-based measurement systems all coordinated by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with possible support by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
